I was very lucky to be in the audience in Baltimore when this CD was being recorded. Joshua was, as always, simply magnificent. Even though many people there were familiar with the work it in no way diminished the joy of hearing this wonderful piece. Taken from the movie's score, which was without a doubt one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written for the silver screen, this concerto sings like no other in Joshua's capable hands.

I was also lucky enough to meet both Mr. Bell and Mr. Corigliano after the show where they signed my movie poster from the Red Violin, making this a truly magical night. That poster is now one of my most prized possessions.

I was at the performance featuring Joshua Bell in Fresno, CA. on November 2, 2007. It was an amazing experience. Joshua is so truly talented, it was mesmerizing. As soon as intermission came, I hurried out to the lobby and bought "The Red Violin Concerto" without hesitation. Later, after the performance, the applause sounded like thunder. The entire crowd cheered until he appeased us with an encore. He played an excert from "The Red Violin Concerto". It was extremely beautiful. When he plays the violin, it sings! When I went home, I listened to the entire cd three times in a row. I was more than pleased. Not to mention, I was able to wait in line after the concert and get Joshua Bell's autograph on my cd. He was very sweet and had no problem personalizing my autograph for me. He is the most amazing artist that I have seen and I hope that he will return to Fresno, or that I will get another opportunity to see him. The entire performance was spectacular!!

This album is great! He puts in all his emotion and his very soul. 5 stars for this one!
