joanne woodward to present education through music award to joshua bell!

Tickets are still available for the May 7th Eight Annual Education Through Music Annual Children’s Benefit Gala at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. Joshua, who is an ETM Advisory Committee Member, will be recognized for his longtime support of music education with a special introduction by Oscar winner Joanne Woodward. The reception starts at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and performances starting at 7:30 p.m.

ETM is a non-profit organization dedicated to brining music instruction to at-risk children who would otherwise have limited or no exposure to the arts. ETM currently serves over 9,000 students at 20 elementary public and parochial schools in Manhattan, The Bronx and Brooklyn. Nationally, ETM serves a total of 12,800 disadvantaged children through partner schools in New York and affiliates in Los Angeles and the SF Bay area.
