joshua bell performs for president and mrs. obama at ford’s theatre!

Joshua performed for the President and First Lady and VIPs February 11th at the grand reopening of the Ford’s Theatre in Washington DC. The invitation-only event honored George Lucas and Sidney Poitier with performances from a stellar cast of entertainers. But the biggest surprise of the evening was when the audience learned that the violin Joshua was playing was last played at Ford's Theatre on April 14th, 1865—the night of Lincoln’s assassination.
